Over time the colour of bud rosewood is enhanced as any slight colour mismatches are harmonised with touch and atmosphere. This set has a beautiful reddish brown colour from the wood. Its a leading example in luxury chess sets, the King is 4 inch in height and is magnificent in detail and carving. Note the detail of the knight.
