Cm8F Floor membrane is helpful for installation in small cellars for a complete waterproofing system. However, a limiting factor in many small cellars/ basements can be the available head height is restricted without significant excavation work and the associated costs. In addition, the 8mm floor membrane product offers a considerable lower thickness advantage compared with the standard 20mm floor membrane.

CM8F is an alternative to 20mm stud, mainly when floor to ceiling height is an essential but a limiting factor in a small cellar

Applications:

A Perimeter drainage channel will make a significant difference in controlling the damaging effects of water ingress to a cellar/basement. A floor membrane will contain and encourage any water ingress through the floor area to flow to the drainage channel. Where the height difference between the cellar floor and the ceiling is limiting, then the use of a relatively thin floor membrane can be helpful.
