This succulent ‘pulled’ boneless Confit Duck Meat is made following the same traditional recipe as our award-winning Duck Confit.
Our Duck Confit Duck is slowly cooked the traditional French way, in its own fat and perfectly seasoned, for a tender and succulent taste experience. Duck confit makes a delicious meal in its own right and is also a fantastic base for many recipes.
How to use
Simply heat in a pan or an oven and eat! Perfect for sandwiches, pies or salads. For a real treat, try duck parmentier: simply sauté a couple of chopped shallots and some minced garlic in a little oil or duck fat; stir in the duck meat, breaking it up and combining well, then stir in a handful of chopped parsley. Line a deep baking tray or gratin dish with the meat mixture, and then top with buttery mashed potato and a sprinkling of grated cheese, as with a cottage pie. A French bistro classic fit for a king!
