Canovel Home Blitz! is a well-known brand for effectively treating flea infestations around the home and it’s the same proven formulation that is use in the Chicken Home Blitz which is also highly effective for Poultry Red Mite. When lit, the fumes emit a dense smoke cloud that is filled with the effective insect killing active ingredient (permethrin) which is able to penetrate the tiny gaps where Red Mite live during the day. The fumigation pack also kills other crawling and flying insects such as fleas, ants and mosquitos. Directions for Use: Consider how many fumes you need for the room to be treated and apply at a rate of one generator per 7.5m3 and make sure to clear people and animals from the room before use. Place canister(s) spaced out on the floor on a heat resistant surface such as a plate on top of a sheet of aluminium foil 50cm x 50cm. Important: This product may emit some sparks upon ignition, therefore caution must be taken when lighting the product. Make the area that needs to be fumigated as smoke tight as possible then open canister(s) and light the fuse on the canister furthest from your exit point first, then light the next fumer and move towards your exit point. Close the door on exit and leave for at least 2 hours but preferably overnight and then ventilate the room thoroughly. For severe infestations fumigate 3 times at 5 to 7 day intervals.
