Launched in 2008 comes Auchentoshan’s “Classic”, a Lowland single malt whisky. It’s one of the younger whiskies in the Auchentoshan range, and was matured in bourbonåÊoak casks, after a triple-distillation, and packs a sweet, fruity flavour.Auchentoshan Distillery was founded in 1823 in Dalmuir, West Dunbartonshire, and uses many of the traditional techniques and methods that has made Scotland the true home of fine whisky.===Tasting NotesNose – It has a rich vanilla and coconut smell with a hint of green apple and a tang of citrus zest.åÊPalate – To taste it has a sweet vanilla cream, fresh green apple skin and a little mint.åÊ Finish – It has a wonderful fresh floral zesty finish.
