Ardabil Tabriz design 100% silk carpet

An Ardabil design Tabriz carpet with pure silk pile hand woven on a silk foundation to 256 knots per square inch. After an original, circa 1900, in our archives, the design features an intricate sixteen point lobed central medallion with hanging pendants and connecting floral tendrils. Mainly a pale gold field with terracota medallions, sounded by a brown border with terractora lozenges with floral design. This carpet has a 100% silk content.
