SmartSump – a powerful combination of a high quality sump pump plus battery backup pump – Basement & Drainage Solutions

The SmartSump-Ultra is a robust combination of the well-proven SmartSump plus the reliable UltraSump4 battery backup system. This product is designed for use in basements (and crawlspaces)  where there is importance on the compact size of the sump unit together with the knowledge your basement will be protected even during a loss of electrical power for whatever reason. An ideal product for self-installation because the compact size of the sump requires less time and labour for excavation work. Currently, the unit is available with vertical discharge pipework, which includes the significant benefits of the airtight floor drain to allow floodwater from leakage in an above-ground room to be pumped away and avoid a serious flood condition.

Standard Components;

490mm deep x 475mm top diameter rugged, heavy-duty polyethylene sump liner.
Robust polyethylene sump liner will not crack or be weakened when deliberately perforated to help manage rising groundwater conditions.
Zoeller 53 automatic submersible pump with vertical float switch to avoid wire arm type float switches restrictions.
A screw-in non-return valve, which also simplifies the installation of water discharge pipework.
No hub rubber fitting to further suppress noise/vibration.
Clean pump stand designed to keep the pump inlet out of sediment or small stones.
High water alarm
UltraSump4 provides the second pump in case of primary pump failure, a second pump should unusual water in-flow conditions arise, and a second power source in case of loss of electrical power to the main pump, perhaps during storm conditions.
