Stroopwaffles – Syrup Toffee Waffle

A stroopwafel (“syrup waffle, toffee waffle ) is a traditional Dutch wafer cookie made from two thin layers of baked dough joined by a caramel filling. First made in the Dutch city of Gouda, stroopwafels are very popular in the Netherlands and throughout the rest of the world. A little tip, put the waffle for 20 seconds on top of you’re steaming hot drink to heat up the caramel on the inside of you’re waffle, enjoy! These waffles can be addictive 🙂
